As the Government of New Brunswick and the Public Health Agency of Canada states, physical distancing, effective handwashing and avoiding the touching of one’s face are key preventive measures to contracting COVID-19. As you re-enter the our workplace, these measures are critical.
✅ We have installed physical barriers.
✅ We have adopted rigorous cleaning procedures.
✅ Evaluated the workplace for shared objects and common areas.
✅ Increased the frequency of cleaning of touched surfaces/ objects.
✅ Provided necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and training on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment.
✅ Ensured all employees are fully aware of the preventive measures, and there are clear
guidelines and instructions as well as enforcement of the measures.
As the world emerges from the current pandemic, we have made some fundamental shifts.
We are confident that you will adapt and respond to the challenges, but it will require thoughtfulness and planning.
We all will need to change our fundamental behaviours of how our new process gets done, how we keep our facilities clean and how we interact with co-workers and customers.
As we all move into this new normal, we must continue to strive for injury-free and disease-free workplaces.
We are here for you. Right now, our focus is to protect the health and safety of our people and you – our valued customers.
We know this situation will continue to evolve and we will do our very best to update you as things change. There is no doubt, we are in uncharted territory, but we will make it through this together.
Require that all customers wear masks while taking a test drive, in order to limit the possibility of droplet spread within the vehicle.
We clean and disinfect on surfaces frequently touched by clients, including but not limited to:
✅ Steering wheel
✅ Gear shift
✅ Door handles (interior and exterior)
✅ Arm rests
✅ Buttons for windows and locks
Contact tracing is an important public health tool to stop viruses like COVID-19 from spreading rapidly in communities.
We keep a list of every customer for contact tracing.
Public Health staff may interview the positive person to identify public areas they have visited and people they’ve spent time with. These people are contacts. Public Health maintains the privacy of the positive person. Anyone who tests positive can choose to tell others about their diagnosis, but Public Health will not.
